The Schuyler County Partnership for Economic Development is excited to announce the launch of Schuypreneur, an innovative new program designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. Schuypreneur offers a comprehensive suite of free training videos, resources, and classes tailored to meet the needs of those looking to start or grow their own business.
Schuypreneur is more than just a training program; it's a community-driven initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurial spirit within our region. The program is open to individuals from all backgrounds and skill levels, providing accessible and practical support for everyone, from first-time business owners to seasoned professionals looking to expand their ventures. The program will feature three phases of implementation.
Phase one has been created and includes a free video training library with a large selection of learning videos cultivated to provide a wide range of learning opportunities such as how to get your business started, business planning, marketing, social media, onboarding new employees, sales, and customer service. More topics and videos will be made available as the program grows and additional topics are added.
Phase two will provide ready-to-use and downloadable free resources including New Business Starter Kits and templates. The all-in-one toolkit that will provide everything you need to launch and grow your business in a variety of industries and templates include items such as a business plan, business plan, start-up-budget planning, operating agreement, new hire packet, financial projections and more. The New Business Starter Kits and templates will be available on the website in early September 2024.
Phase three features the relaunch of the Schuyler County Partnership Entrepreneurial Bootcamp, coming in 2025. Utilizing the new coworking incubator space, FLX Works, the Schuypreneur Bootcamp will provide an intensive, hands-on opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to acquire the skills, strategies, and mindset needed to launch and grow a successful business. Participants will immerse themselves in practical workshops, expert-led sessions, and collaborative activities that cover every aspect of entrepreneurship—from idea validation and business planning to marketing, finance, and scaling and will build long-lasting mentoring opportunities and partnerships that will help to solidify the participants future.

We are excited to bring back our bootcamp and provide this resource and educational opportunity to those who seek to start or grow their business. The addition of FLX Works provide the perfect backdrop and opportunity for collaboration and we look forward to 2025 when we can restart this sought after program.”
